River is a passionate reader and writer who is currently working on several unpublished novels. They love incorporating soft-hearted trans characters and nature into every story they write, while also adding a touch of angst to make things more interesting. River got their B.A. in English from Gonzaga University and now resides in Scotland. When they aren't writing, they can usually be found on shift at their local library, watching Star Trek, or dancing to showtunes.

River is neurodivergent and identifies as aroace and nonbinary. They care a lot about advocating for equality and acceptance for all humans that walk the earth and hope that by sharing stories with diverse casts of characters, they can help add more love to the world (as cheesy as it may sound).

 

River is also passionate about the power of libraries. They know from experience that literature has the power to change young people's lives and that access to literature for all is essential to creating a brighter future.
